July Updates at Gracie Coos County

July is already shaping up to be a big month at Gracie Coos County, and we have a lot going on both on and off the mats.

Tonight, Monday, July 6th, 7-8pm our Intro Class will be Gi Jiu Jitsu with Coach TJ. This is a great chance for new students to get comfortable with the basics.

Next Monday, July 13th, 7-8pm Intro Class will be Takedowns with Coach Nate. If you have been wanting to feel more confident starting from the feet, this is a class you will not want to miss.

We also have our Belt Ceremony this Saturday, July 11th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gracie Coquille. This will be potluck-style, so bring a dish if you can. Friends and family are welcome to come celebrate everyone’s hard work. Even if you are not being promoted, it is always a good thing to show up, support your teammates, and be part of the team.

Later this month, on July 25th, Eddie Grant from ExciteFight will be coming in for an MMA Seminar. Eddie has taken fighters all the way to the UFC, so I highly suggest setting the date aside. This is a huge opportunity to learn from someone with experience at the highest levels of the sport.

The seminar is FREE for members and $35 for non-members.
